UX vs UI Design

The art of making a site beautiful (UI) and easy to use (UX).

Two sides of the same coin

UI (User Interface): The visual. Colors, fonts, beautiful buttons. What makes the site pleasing to the eye.

UX (User Experience): The feeling. Can you easily find information? Is the purchase journey smooth? What makes the site effective.

A site can be beautiful (UI) but unusable (UX), or very ugly but very practical.
